Vliegreizen

Continental and Copa Air are the airlines that we have the most luck using. Most fly thought Miami or Houston as they leave the U.S. You may prefer to fly more direct from either of those international airports directly to Lima. Most flight plans will have a connection through Panama City, Panama. Be sure to allow yourself enough time to change planes if you go through Panama. It’s a small but heavily traveled airport.

Ground Transportation

Grijpen van een taxi (veranderingen) in Peru is niet helemaal zoals het vastpakken een in Chicago! Be sure to ask your hotel to call for a taxi to ensure you get one from a reputable company. Indien mogelijk, we will provide shuttles to/from events. Shuttles are similar to minivans in the U.S.

Het denken aan het huren van een auto? Think again! You’ll thank us once you see the traffic. The roads are narrow and include some hair-raising tunnels.

Wist u dat Peru heeft meer dan piramides heeft Egypte? Did you know some believe the ancient Nazca lines to be made by aliens? Did you know that Peru has its own Galapagos area in Paracas? Did you know that the Andes is the longest mountain range in the world stretching almost from the equator to Antarctica — en het verdelen Peru in drie klimaatzones? Ja, hebben we twee excursies. Maar voel je vrij om de musea te bezoeken, de catacomben, het strand, the restaurants. It’s truly a remarkable wonder.
Voor de helft van onze gasten, onze bruiloft is een bestemming op zich. Traveling to South America, our North American friends and families (liefdevol wordt genoemd “Sammies”) zal worden behandeld om 70 mate weer tijdens de 2011 Kerstvakantie in Peru.

Gaby has always dreamed of a sunset beach wedding at her parents place in Bujama. However, the distance to Bujama from Lima makes this impractical for the Limeans who will be attending the service on a weeknight. So we chose the beach property of Playa Lurin, net ten zuiden van Lima.

Our host in Playa Lurin is located on private property. It isn’t far from the ancient ruins of Pachacamac. Two large boulders in the sea just south of this spot are rumored by Incan legend to be a princess and her child.

De bruiloft receptie is over Peru tijd. Dat betekent dat verwacht te gaan tot 3 op! We hope to arrange for all our Sammy guests from the US to stow their luggage at the beach house in Playa Lurin during the wedding events then be transported to Bujama for a stay at the beach.

We verwachten op het strand huizen te blijven vanaf begin december 31 until early January 2. Lodging for the 3 nachten zal ongeveer $110 USD each.

New Year's Eve Massa is op 7 uur in de open lucht kapel op het strand op slechts een paar honderd meter ten zuiden van de strandhuisjes.

Tradities om te genieten: Red undies if you have a sweetheart present; geel als je hopen op geluk in het nieuwe jaar; champagne en druiven geluk tijdens de vuurwerkshow. Younger adults will want to abandon the casa and head to a night club in Asia.
